DEBBIE O. - 4 STARS

Updated: Nov 11, 2022

GPS fans will enjoy this book Charles and Alice Crenshaw are enjoying their 35th wedding anniversary dinner with Ed and Helen Grimshaw when the topic of GPS systems comes up. Ed Grimshaw provides Charles and Alice with an after dinner demonstration of his (Ed's) GPS system installed in his car. Charles is impressed. A chance remark by a fellow at the coat check counter (after dinner) plants a seed of interest in Charles and he decides to explore The Hotchkiss model of GPS systems. The Hotchkiss salesman assists Charles in deciding which model of the Hotchkiss to get and Charles authorizes it's installation just prior to heading off on a road trip with wife Alice. The Hotchkiss GPS system is comprehensive and provides a large variety of complementary services. In fact, the services are rather mind-boggling. The humour is a touch on the dark side, but many people will definitely enjoy the extent the company that makes The Hotchkiss will go to, to ensure the needs (and desires) of their customers are met. I only gave it 4 stars because I personally am not all that interested in automobile tech systems. It's still a good read for those who are though.
